Hauora (The 4 Dimensions of health)

Health:
Hauora is 4 different types of our well-being:

  1. Taha Tinana - Physical Well-being
  • Moving around
  • Doing sports
  • Exercising
  • Movement

    2. Taha hinengaro - Mental and Emotional Well-being
  • Feelings
  • Emotions during activities
  • Expressing how you feel

    3. Taha Whanau - Social Well-being
  • Talking to other people
  • Getting to know them
  • Spending time together
  • Caring for others

   4. Taha Wairua - Spiritual Well-being
  • Your Beliefs
  • Going Church
  • The way people live

 4 Dimensions:

  1. Playing Sports - Physical well-being because your being physical by running and moving around.
  2. Listening to music - Mental and emotional because if I listen to smooth music I feel chilled and when I listen to pop music I feel happy and I’ll be in a good mode.
  3. Talking to other people - Social being i’m talking to new people and also getting to know them.
  4. Going Church - Spiritual well-being because we are going church to pray for lord to forgive us for the bad things that's happened, thank him for everything but also ask for help.
